As well as posting refurbs here I will also pop them on the calendar so they appear as they happen.
EPCOT
•Dragon Legend Acrobats at the China Pavillion show closure 2/2011. No current news about their replacements
MAGIC KINGDOM PARK
•Fantasyland Construction- Construction wall photos
◦Pooh's Playful Spot playground closes 4/12/2010
◦Ariel's Grotto Character meet and greet closes 4/12/2010. Ariel can be seen in the Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade and the SpectroMagic parade at Magic Kingdom, also at the Voyage of the Little Mermaid at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
◦Scuttle's Landing snack location closes 4/12/2010.
◦Winnie the Pooh and Tigger will appear in Town Square on Main Street for meet and greets.
◦Please check back for updates as we receive them.
•Exposition Hall - closes 4/2/10- The Storytime Experience moves to Epcot, Walt Disney Story Theatre closes to accomodate future meet and greet experiences. The rest of Exposition Hall will remain open.
•Storytime with Belle- last performance 9/12/10, starting 10/15 there will be a new show featuring Rapunzel and Flynn Rider from the upcoming Disney movie Tangled.
•Magic Kingdom Pet Kennel at the Ticket and Transportation Center will be closing to walk ups 9/2/2010.
•Mickey's Toontown Fair closing for construction of new area 2/12/2011- no end date.
◦Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and the Disney Princesses will move to Town Square in Spring 2011. Locations will be published later.
◦Tinker Bell will go to Disney's Hollywood Studios. The other fairies will appear later in the spring at Epcot.
◦The Walt Disney Railroad will remain open but the Toontown station will be closed during construction.
◦The face painting area will close in Toontown. The other theme parks will offer face painting.
ANIMAL KINGDOM
•Disney's Animal Kingdom Pet Kennel will be closing to walk ups 9/2/2010.
•Village Beatniks- final performance 9/25/10
•Primeval Whirl 1/17-4/15/2011
HOLLYWOOD STUDIO'S
•Sounds Dangerous- operates seasonally. Closed 3/3-3/6/2011
•Star Tours- 9/8/10- 5/16/11
•Power Rangers leaving Disney. They have been sold back to original owner. They will be appearing through August 7.
•Disney-Hollywood Studios Pet Kennel will be closing to walk ups 9/2/2010.
•Playhouse Disney- Live on Stage! closed 1/30/2011- 3/5/2011
