Walt Disney World is playing a trick this Halloween, removing all the free treats from Downtown Disney. It has been confirmed that the annual tradition of offering free trick-or-treating on Halloween (and the day before) has been cancelled.
Disney is citing overcrowding and extreme popularity as the reasons for ending the experience, which not only included free candy but also photo opportunities and other entertainment. Shame but all good things come to an end.
